There are a few restaurants around the villa near the Blanca Palace Hotel. Cala Blanca has a wider variety. Cala ‘n’ Bosch offers a large selection of restaurants with the majority being around the harbour.
Ciutadella Town and harbour offers a selective choice of restaurants. We recommend you look to see where the locals are eating to enjoy the best quality and value for money.
The Menorcans do not usually go out to eat as early as we do at home. You will find that the Menorcans will go out to dinner from 10pm till 12pm. Do not be surprised if you are leaving a restaurant and you will see groups entering. Sometimes with small children (who are well behaved)!
The places we have listed below have been tried and tested by us over the years and we will usually go back on one of our visits:-
Restaurant / Style
Es Caliu - Open fired Meat of excellent quality
Es Bahia - Typical Menorcan cuisine, meat, fish and pasta dishes
Cala Blanca restaurant - Typical Menorcan cuisine, meat, fish and pasta dishes
Sa Quadra - Meat, fish and pasta dishes
Sa Nacra - Typical Menorcan Cuisine
Jennies bar - Meat, fish and pasta dishes. They do a 3 course selection menu with wine for under £10 euros. The quality is average and portions a fair size. They do an excellent breakfast full english, juice and coffee for £3.50 euros.
Cafe Balear - Tapas (In Ciutadella and Cala 'n Bosch)
There are always new restaurants opening up in Ciutadella.
